CPR Winnipeg via Thunder Bay Route Poster
Reproduction of the first long-distance travel poster issued by Canadian Pacific. Bought directly from the CP Bygones Shop in 1977. The original poster was accurately reproduced in black, green and red - including the brown stains of age which were on the original 1883 poster and lend character to this item. Poster advertised the new route to Winnipeg and prairie points via the Great Lakes and the Canadian Pacific line from Port Arthur. Measures 9" x 24" on heavy art paper and suitable for framing. A few minor creases (as shown in the photo) which won't be an issue if mounted and framed. Will be shipped in a heavy cardboard tube.
