CPR Transcontinental Tail End Sign

(Brand new - Exceedingly rare)

This is a full sized replica of the original Tail End Sign displayed on the rear of a named Canadian Pacific train. It was used on CPR's Transcontinental Trains from 1929 to 1931. The sign was reproduced by CPR and sold in the mid 1970's in their 'Bygones' shop. It is a high quality silk-screen reproduction on 3/16" thick plexiglass. This sign can best be displayed when illuminated from the rear (as it was on the train) but care should be taken to not allow a light to be placed too close to the sign. This item was reproduced by CPR in very limited numbers and is exceedingly rare to find in this brand new condition.

The sign will be shipped inside its original cardboard sleeve as sent by CPR in 1975 and further packaged in heavy cardboard.

Size is 16 1/2" wide and 19 1/2" high. Shipping cost reflects the size on the sign.
